The South African Chamber of Commerce in the USA (SACCUSA) is delighted to welcome Mirêlle Jacobs of 1Digital, who joins the Chamber’s marketing and communications function from 1 November 2026 as its full-time marketing and social media lead.

Already a longstanding supporter of SACCUSA, Mirêlle brings an understanding of our community and a commitment to helping South African businesses succeed. Working with the 1Digital team, she will help strengthen the Chamber’s digital presence and give greater visibility to the people, businesses and opportunities within our network.

1Digital combines creative communication, digital marketing and technology-driven solutions to help businesses tell their stories, connect with audiences and build their brands. Its work with SACCUSA will bring a coordinated approach to our website, newsletters and social media, supported by opportunities to introduce practical AI-enabled tools that improve communication and engagement.

For members, this means more opportunities to showcase achievements, discover potential partners and participate in a connected business community that reaches beyond individual cities and industries.

This collaboration supports a central SACCUSA purpose: building sustainable people-to-people business networks. By making our members more visible and their expertise easier to discover, we create stronger foundations for introductions, referrals and lasting commercial relationships.

Mirêlle and 1Digital will also help communicate the Chamber’s work to promote trade, investment and tourism between South Africa and the United States, bringing South African businesses, products, services and destinations to wider audiences.
