As you know the South African Chamber of Commerce USA is all about connecting and celebrating South Africans, and the best way to do that is through storytelling.

I’m excited to share an exciting new collaborative initiative designed to celebrate and broadcast the achievements of the South African diaspora. Aligned with the Chamber’s core mission to showcase South African successes, both big and small, this project will gather and spotlight inspiring stories of individuals thriving across the United States.

The collaboration will culminate in a comprehensive media ecosystem, featuring a premium 300-page hardcover coffee table book, an ebook, a dedicated online portal, and a targeted social media campaign.

To ensure world-class execution, the project partners have engaged a seasoned global publishing team. Renowned for producing high-end community book projects that elevate regional profiles internationally, the publishers will manage the entire process end-to-end: including onboarding interviews, professional copywriting, graphic design, printing, shipping, and distribution.

Driven by a collective marketing ethos, the initiative operates on a unique crowdfunding model with a strict no-advertising policy. This approach ensures the final product remains entirely focused on delivering high-quality, engaging stories for both participants and readers, making the book a perfect gift.

How to Participate

• The Opportunity: Selected participants will receive a beautifully designed double-page spread to tell their story.
• The Investment: A production fee of $600, which includes feature placement on the official project website at winningtheawaygame.co.za.
• Copies of the book will be available on pre-order only.
